5. Main implementation parameters
The gas-assisted injection process using one or more feeders does not require any special skills, as the cavity is filled in a perfectly conventional way. The only problems that may be encountered are cross-sectional variations between thin zones and zones reinforced by the gas stream.
The implementation of the partial filling process requires much more rigor and analysis. The influence of the various parameters varies according to the geometry of the part.

Dynamic injection speed
Gas injection causes a bubble to form at very high speed: in fact, the bubble forms in less than 0.1 s. If there is too great a difference between the velocity of the material front during the dynamic injection phase and the velocity of this front during the blowing phase, the material undergoes very high acceleration...

Patents
It wasn't until 2010 that the legal situation reached an epilogue: the legal wrangling that had disrupted the development of the gas-assisted injection process came to an end the day the feeder patent fell into the public domain. But the damage had been done, and many processors had become discouraged by the difficulties.
