5. Conclusion
The PMO2000 ® inverted reliability-based maintenance method designed by Steve Turner is characterized by the fact that, unlike the original RCM method, it relies on maintenance procedures already in place, rather than on functional analysis to determine functions and failure modes. The main objective of this method is to significantly reduce development times and associated resources. To achieve this objective, PMO2000 ® recommends a nine-step procedure.
