4. Conclusion
Digital technologies have given rise to new solutions for process engineering, plant design and improvement, and process engineering. In the field of human engineering, advanced ergonomics and virtual reality functionalities are being developed to improve working conditions for operators at their workstations, whether through ergonomic studies or training. These digital tools can be used to validate hypotheses before they are physically implemented in the production system, and to test alternative proposals.
