4. Conclusion

In a highly competitive industrial context, finite element simulation techniques and tools are invaluable allies not only for the engineer in charge of designing a product or system, but also for all those involved in the design process. However, to use them effectively, a number of points need to be taken into account:

  • One of the keys to the success of a simulation is to constantly keep a critical eye on the work carried out. It is therefore essential to entrust the implementation of these simulations to suitably qualified people, who will not use the software as a "black box". This requires appropriate training in simulation methods, tools and approaches. It also implies regular practice of this activity;
