Regardless of the type of watch considered, there are two different approaches to monitoring, each of which focuses on a particular type of source:
human sources ;
electronic sources.
Each type of source has its own approach to monitoring:
field monitoring for human sources;
Internet monitoring for electronic sources.
It's important to note at this point that these two approaches are not mutually exclusive; on the contrary, they are highly complementary and can coexist within a single company.
