7. Conclusion
The field of schematics and schematization is too vast to be described in a few pages. This does not mean that it is inaccessible. The purpose of this presentation is precisely to show that schemas do not belong to an esoteric universe to which only a privileged few hold the key. Anyone can understand and create schematics once they've familiarized themselves with the rules governing the schematization process. It's because these simple rules are ignored that the diagrams we're presented with every day are often difficult to understand, perpetuating the habit of confusing diagrams with rebus. A major pedagogical effort is still needed to put schematization in its rightful place in teaching.
