4. Industrial implementation

It seems to us that there are three main types of scheduling software on offer:

  • basic" scheduling tools included in CAPM (Computer-Aided Production Management) or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) tools;

  • specialized scheduling software ;

  • generic "solvers" for scheduling problems.
