4. Example of a heat source positioning device

The system studied is shown in figure 3 .

This system allows the heat source to be positioned or retracted above the manufactured product, which itself circulates on a conveyor belt.

The operating principle is as follows: when the cylinder is operated at output, it drives levers 1 and 2, which are linked to axis 1. These levers are articulated around the two axes (one is located at the cylinder ball joint, the other is marked axis 1). Lever 2 is integral with the radiant heat source. When the cylinder rod is extended, the radiant heat source rotates about axis 1 via lever 2. The heat source is in the position shown in the diagram at 3 .
