3. Performance evaluation
In a similar way to GET, GETG performance evaluation involves calculating the graph cycle time and the crossing frequency associated with each transition.
For example, for a production system, these performances correspond to the calculation of cycle time (the average time between two parts produced by a machine) and cycle frequency (the number of parts produced per unit of time, by a machine).
While the calculation of these performances is feasible for GET, the problem is still open for GETG. As an alternative, the use of (min, +) algebra would allow us to obtain approximate results, using approximate methods.
