4. Lightweight packaging

Cagettes, crates, cheese boxes, bourriches, crates, trays, baskets, destined for large families of users and products such as fruit and vegetables, seafood (oysters, shellfish, fish), cheeses and creamery products, Viennese pastries? In almost all cases, these are considered tertiary (or transport) packaging; however, some of them can be assimilated to primary or sales packaging, in the sense that they have been designed to constitute a separate unit for the consumer or end-user at the point of sale (oyster crates, strawberry trays, etc.)...).

Lightweight wooden packaging is mostly parallelepipedic in shape, with the exception of some cheese boxes and bourriches, which are round. The main models are as follows:
