Project
Time-limited organization whose start and end dates are known from the outset, and whose processes are geared to achieving a production objective for a complex good or service.
Logistics
The part of supply chain management that plans, implements and controls the efficient and effective flow of goods, warehousing and services using associated information, in order to satisfy customer requirements.
Transitional phase
A moment in a project that aims to switch from a latent state to an activated state, or vice versa. The transitional phase represents an upheaval in operating modes, and enables a technical, contextual and strategic alignment of the players and organizations involved in a project.
