Choosing a self-propelled forklift truck is a daunting task, given the sheer number and variety of models on the market. To help you make the right choice, it's essential to review the main features that differentiate them and make them particularly suitable for a given application.
The classification included in Directive C165 of July 2 1979 is a good basis for reviewing the different types of forklift. It is based on six criteria:
mode of action;
height of elevation ;
driving mode ;
mode of travel ;
energy source ;
the type of wheel lining.
