The nature of the RECOR mechanism, which is based on the physical observation of component consumption, leads to and enables a significant decentralization of the role of order giver. The simplicity of workshop scheduling and priority analysis means that production, dispatch and supply orders can be decentralized to the level of production, handling and warehousing agents.

This context encourages staff autonomy, and relieves shop foremen of a significant proportion of scheduling tasks, enabling them to participate in flow preparation and productivity improvements. This transfer of tasks also makes it possible to reduce the number of supervisory staff.
