After this first integral approach on a solid example, we develop here a more physical approach in fluid dynamics.
2.1 Reference plane problem
Here, we'll consider the elementary case of an incompressible perfect-fluid plane flow in an irrotational steady state. This is an example of how singularities generate the solution. What's more, since the current lines coincide with the trajectories in steady state, the flat graphical representation is very simple and unambiguous.
