3. Conclusion

The two amplifiers studied here use articulated mechanisms with rotoidal links. They are multi-stage amplifiers consisting of a combination of elementary mechanisms as described in [AF1674] . In one case the elementary mechanisms are coaxial, in the other orthogonal. They deliver significant gains with good efficiency and a compact design. In principle, they could be applied in many industrial sectors, in the automotive industry in particular for braking, in the bicycle industry also for braking, and in manufacturing for blocking workpieces during machining.
