2. Optimizing dynamic relaxation measurement
Prior to any measurement, it is necessary to define what information is expected from the measurement. A distinction must be made between knowing the dynamic properties of a material in relation to its formulation, and characterizing a product in its current state. If the aim is simply to determine the characteristic frequencies of the product as a whole (product as is), without establishing any link with its microstructure, only the nature of the substrate/product interface will be taken into account for the measurement, which will be carried out in conditions as close as possible to those in which the material is used.
