8. Effervescence

In the case of effervescent atomizers, a distinction can be made between those using a liquid/gas mixture in which the gas is immiscible in the liquid, and those using a gas in solution or a liquid emulsion in which one of the constituents vaporizes during atomization. The difficulty of modeling is increased compared to other types of atomizers due to the intra-orifice dysphasic aspect characteristic of this atomization.
